WARNING. Flooding is expected in Corpach and Caol. Act now. A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties in coastal areas of Corpach. Properties and roads behind the Caol and Lochyside Flood Protection Scheme should be protected from flooding from the sea. Properties and roads in the following areas are at risk of flooding in Corpach: Canal Cottages, Corpach Marina, the A830 Road to the Isles, Corpach Harbour and the West Highland railway line. The Fort William Water Treatment Works is also at risk. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide at 19:45 on Sunday 20th October. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Corpach and Caol. A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties in coastal areas of Corpach and Caol. Roads at risk of flooding in Caol including Kilmallie Road, Glenmallie Road, Eracht Drive and Eracht Terrace. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide from 05:30 to 07:30 [GMT] on Wednesday 22nd March. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188.
